Tips and recommendations, train, Soller and Sa Calobra

The ISLAND TOUR includes the journey by train from Palma to Soller, by tramway from Soller to Puerto de Soller and by boat from Puerto de Soller to Sa Calobra.

The clients can choose freely the schedule of all means of transport that most interests them (from those featured in TIMETABLES & PRICES), thus ‘tailor making’ the combination of their trip. The price includes both the outgoing as well as the return journeys, free parking in Son Sardina and the visit to the exhibition of paintings (“50 Scenaries of Majorca”) at the train station in Palma as well as to the exhibitions of engravings from MIRO and ceramics of PICASSO, both at the station in Soller.
Internet bookings can be made until 6 p.m. of the day prior to the trip.
Places for up to 6 people (adults and children over the age of 3) can be reserved per booking. IMPORTANT: When a booking is made, it is essential to indicate the number of children under the age of 3, if applicable, for the purposes of travel insurance on the different means of transport.
Payment by credit card guarantees the reservation of the corresponding places. VSS cannot guarantee available places unless a prior reservation has been made and paid for, given the high occupancy rates of the different means of transport that are involved.
Once the payment of the reservation has been made, you will be sent a booking reference. You must give this booking reference to the person at the ticket office of VALL SOLLER SERVICES at Palma-Sóller Railway Station or Son Sardina Railway Station in order to collect the corresponding tickets.
We remind you to confirm the timetables of the train, tram and boat for the return journey when you pick up your tickets at the ticket office.
If, due to bad weather (force majeure), the boats to La Calobra are unable to depart, you will be notified of the fact when you collect your tickets at the ticket office, in which case you can either: 1-Choose to go ahead without making the Port of Sóller-La Calobra-Port of Sóller boat trip, receiving a corresponding refund of €15 per person (50% for children aged 3 to 11), or 2-Cancel the whole trip in exchange for a refund of the total amount paid (refunded using the same means of payment as that used to make the reservation).
Remember that you can visit the exhibition of paintings FIFTY MALLORCAN LANDSCAPES at Palma-Sóller Railway Station. At Sóller Railway Station you can visit the exhibition of engravings by MIRÓ and ceramics by PICASSO. The three exhibitions are free of charge.
At Son Sardina Railway Station, you can park your car free of charge in the PARK & RIDE car park (with closed-circuit TV surveillance). At Palma-Sóller Railway Station, VALL SOLLER SERVICES does not have a car park.
The staff of VALL SOLLER SERVICES will happily inform you where you can have lunch both in the Port of Sóller and at La Calobra.
